What We Do
Sporting Activities: Building Life Skills and Creating Opportunities
In addition to education and health support, we offer children the opportunity to develop soccer skills. Our program teaches life skills such as teamwork, leadership, time management, discipline, and resilience. Sports provide a positive outlet, helping disadvantaged youth stay engaged, build physical strength, and foster social and emotional growth. Soccer builds confidence, self-esteem, and resilience, giving kids the tools to pursue a brighter future and access opportunities they might not have had otherwise.
Below is the effect that your participation has on the children and the community we serve.
We believe education is key to helping youth develop their full potential.
Mentors help our young people develop their potential and shape their lives through sharing their skills and knowledge with our youth.
In partnership with the team in Uganda, child safeguarding is a commitment we made to be a safe organization for children in our program.
Orphans are defined as children aged under 18 years who have lost either one or both parents while vulnerable children are defined as children whose safety, well-being or development is at significant risk.
Dropping out of school is prevalent among vulnerable groups, and the cost to disadvantaged individuals, families and communities is high. Many factors are attributed the increased student drop-out rates in Uganda. These include poverty or low socioeconomic status, lack of resources, and unemployment.
Africa is a continent bursting with raw talent, yet it faces significant challenges in nurturing that talent effectively. Msingi strives to provide young players with the tools they need to succeed.
