History is all about understanding how the past shaped the present,
making it possible to learn from our mistakes and chart better paths forward.

Our story began in Uganda in July 2018, when Eddie Tokpa, who was working there at the time, met many vulnerable children, including street kids facing poverty, abuse, and lack of education. Drawing on his own personal experience as a former refugee. Eddie made the choice to form a foundation to help provide safety and protection for those vulnerable children.
Eddie decided to use soccer as a platform to reach out to them to provide mentorship and social support and help as many as possible return back to school. To help and give back, he established a Soccer Academy called Msingi Soccer Academy. Msingi Soccer Academy exists to bring hope into the lives of each child in the program.
